Capacity increase of a rotary kiln

Upgrade | Intercem converted a production line in the United Arab Emirates for clinker production. Capacity was increased from 800 to 2,000 tpd and processing was converted, enabling the reduction of kiln length from 159 to 51 metres.

As general contractor, Intercem supplied the entire engineering required as well as all mechanical and electrical equipment on a turnkey basis. The project was successfully completed in the agreed timeframe and as a result of customer satisfaction, Intercem was awarded the contract to supply a new raw mill - which was also planned, built and handed over on schedule and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.
